Responsibilities
Weston & Sampson is hiring an Engineer with our Water Discipline with 0 to 4 years of experience in our Reading, MA office locations. The candidate will have experience in evaluation, design, and construction of public infrastructure in the northeastern United States.
Qualifications
What you'll do:
Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications.
Visit job sites to perform project tasks including, field tests, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation.
Office work may include engineering design, data review and tabulation, data management and analysis, and preparation of technical reports.
Expected to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires, but an emphasis will be placed primarily on water related projects.
Willing to travel as required
What you will bring:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with wastewater process and treatment emphasis
Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills
Proficiency in use of Microsoft excel for data analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
EIT Certification is a plus
Construction experience is a plus
Engineering Consulting industry is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertake
Valid driver's license required
